Want a little help to get the best from your laptop, your tablet computer or smartphone? Then contact me to come along to one of our informal ‘Help Sessions’ on Monday afternoons at my home in Spittal. Just get in touch.
We meet from 2.00 till 4.00pm for around four weeks at a time. Groups are small (maximum of three or four members) so that you can get the most from each session.
These are not lessons but simply chat and advice based around your own computer/tablet use, your needs and interests.
Areas we have covered in the past include:
> Buying and selling on the Internet – including Ebay
> Setting up email accounts
> Use of files and folders, downloading files etc.
> Scanning, copying
> Taking photos and forwarding them on
> Multimedia – Smart TV, YouTube etc.
> Microsoft packages (depending on what members use)
> How to use your mobile
> Using the library online facilities
> Internet with Government and Local Councils. E.g. Taxing car, Tax returns.
