The Woodworking Group exists to give those who have never worked with wood before, the opportunity to experience the craft.
Projects include using hand tools to acquire the basic skills then lead on to using machines, including the fret saw , bandsaw and woodturning lathe. Carving is also explored in various styles.
The group is run in my home workshop, the numbers are necessarily small due to the size of the workshop and the need to have sufficient tools available for use.
There is a maximum of 4 people, we are often full, but enquire anyway so that you can be added to the waiting list.
