May I be the first to offer my thanks to Jean and Graham Goodeve for organising such a superb day at the National Museum. Around 70 members from all around Pembrokeshire journeyed to Cardiff in two coaches and returned safe and sound with no hiccups! There will be a fuller report in the 'News' section of the Website shortly.
I've got to say the most 'magical' experience for me today has been placing my hand on a glass display case and knowing the just a couple of cm from my touch was a Fragment of the MOON!

For those who didn't go here are a few of more of my highlights (plus the company of course):
From Steep Hillsides: Ancient Rock Carvings from Dazu, China

Highlights of Impressionism

Lyrical Lines – the art of Augustus John

The Fabulous Mineral Collection of Lady Henrietta Antonia Herbert, Countess of Powis

Sorry that Jean was ill and unable to come ……… hope you are better soon.
