The following information has been supplied to explain more about the Walkability project:
2 downloadable leaflets attached at the bottom
The Walkablility Project has been designed to support & encourage people
of all abilities to get out & about as a means to improving health &
well-being.
It's got a wide scope & I'm available to lead walks, help plan routes,
give advice etc. & can cater for all sorts of groups including disabled,
wheelchair users, cardiac rehab patients, right through to people who
want the opportunity to stretch their capabilities.
I operate anywhere in the county, & can use the area where a group comes
from, or travel to new interesting venues.
If you have a small group of 3 or more who have similar interests or
needs, please feel welcome to talk to me & we can arrange to meet up &
see if I can help out, or meet up to go out for a walk.
I have attached publicity leaflet for the project (where you may have
got my details) plus details of the weekly walk starting from St Davids
which may be of interest for any U3A folk who live that way.
I am by necessity very rarely in the office, and I work 3 days a week,
so my mobile number is good to get hold of me, & I check e-mails
regularly.
I look forward to hearing from you soon
