Hi all – 39 walkers enjoyed a very bracing, approx.2.2 mile walk, 2.4 miles for those who went as far as St. Ann's Lighthouse !, in mainly bright Spring sunshine today.
The walk started from the Kete car park and after initially heading North the group headed West to pick up the peninsula's coast path.
Some spectacular views were to be seen from the cliffs towards the islands of Skokholm & Skomer.
Reaching the coast path at Welshman's Bay to coast path turned was followed towards St Ann's Head in a general Southerly direction.
A passing, but quite heavy shower, made all reach for the umbrella's and wet weather gear after we had enjoyed our “sweety” stop and when we got to the tarmacked road the rain was beginning to ease.
Returning from Dale a very enjoyable and welcome lunch was enjoyed at Milford Haven Golf Club.
A vote of thanks was made to Babs Derbyshire by Helen Lewis John for organising the walk and making the lunch arrangement's which was warmly supported by all.
Attach a few photos for you:-
