Hi all- a disbelieving group of twenty walkers ignored the weather forecast of gale force wind and heavy rain and were rewarded with a very enjoyable and varying landscape walk around the woodland of Little Milford and the shoreline of the western Cleddau estuary. The weather remained dry and with a brightening sky although the recent high tides and rain made for muddy and occasional slippy conditions underfoot. The 2.5 St.Davids mile walk, which was actually closer to 3.3 statutory miles  ;), was both bracing in the cool conditions but surprisingly mild with the shelter of the trees and in the lee of the headland. A very welcome and a value for money lunch was taken at the Haverfordwest Golf Club and a vote of thanks was made by Wendy to the walk leaders Hazel and Maurice which was soundly supported.  ;D ;D
