Thirty seven U3A members met at the lower Common Car Park today for the Pembroke Town Walk. Initial sunny and blue sky conditions, surprisingly warm for the time of year!, turned occasionally into spasmodic rain showers but the enjoyable Autumn conditions gave some lovely views along the route. The Walk followed its normal course via the Castle, Mill Pond Walk, Barnard’s Tower and the Holyland Nature Reserve returning to Pembroke High Street. An enjoyable and well deserved lunch was enjoyed by the majority of the walkers at Browns Fish and Chip Bar. Attach a few photos. for you.
