Royal Voluntary Service Pembrokeshire (formally WRVS) support those elderly and vulnerable members of our communities, aged over 50, to remain independent and in their own homes.  We deliver 50,000 meals on wheels per year in Pembrokeshire, visit and befriend 170 people who have become isolated or lonely, we also provide transport for those unable to access public transport, run the hospital T Bar in Withybush Hospital and are currently setting up a mobile DVD/video/book library to provide home entertainment and a regular visit from a volunteer to those who live alone or are lonely and unable to leave their homes.

Could you spare one hour a week to volunteer on any one of the above services? You can make a huge difference to the life of someone who may not speak to another person during the whole of that week. Please contact Susan Meister on 07714 898 608 for further details. Mileage allowance paid.
    Thank you
