Meeting at West Angle 7 members set off in mist and drizzle along the coast towards Freshwater West. This section is deceptive – easy level going interspersed with steep sections where the path crosses valleys. By the time the group headed inland from Freshwater West the weather had improved, Linney Head could be seen peering through the mist and the drizzle had stopped. Crossing over the brow the group descended to the Haven foreshore near Angle where lunch was taken under the occasional bit of blue sky. The final leg followed the haven coastline back round to the start by which time the sun had showed itself. All in all an excellent walk enjoyed by all and which turned out much better than initially seemed likely. Attached is photo of some mushrooms by the path approaching Freshwater West. Thanks to leaders Mike and Maureen Withers.
