Thinking back to the days when I had to save up my pennies to buy the latest version of Mahler's Second as recommended by the 'Gramophone' Magazine. We are surely spoiled for choice nowadays. I once regarded youtube as a refuge for singing cats, and 4year-olds pushing their siblings into swimmimg pools. However there must be at least half a dozen full length versions of 'The Resurrection'(try the Mariss Jansons version) freely available now with a choice of orchestras and conductors. With HD and good quality sound. What more would you want?
