Thirty Five walkers set out from the Pump on the Green on sunny but initially rather chilly morning to walk down into the valley of Spittal Brook and then on to Little Treffgarne Wood. It warmed up as we set out across open fields via a short but very muddy patch adjacent to Nolton and then down into the valley again to cross the brook at Mill Bridge. This was followed by another rather stiff climb to Zions Chapel, Golden Hill. There a small group broke off to return to Spittal by the more direct route while the rest followed a pretty little lane past Lewis Hill to Churchlands Farm to return to the Pump on the Green, where 30 stopped for a delicious lunch.
Unfortunately we have no photos of the walk this week.
