Hi all- a walk today in the North of the County around the Rosebush area. The forecast of clear and potentially sunny weather did not fully materialize but it was dry and visibility cleared as the walk progressed. The 4.1 mile walk started from the Pontmaenog car park and the 39 walkers revelled in the dry weather and mainly good underfoot conditions, which was especially appreciated after recent walks & semi-continuous rain. Several walkers, who were still partly recovering from the Newgale walk last week!!, took a shorter detour and were rewarded by sampling the local produce from the Pant Mawr cheese factory which was both enjoyable and relaxing. A welcome lunch was taken in the distinctive Tafarn Sinc pub :
and a warmly supported vote of thanks for the walk organisation was made by Wendy Proctor, in Helen's absence, to the walk leaders Pamela and Gwynne Thomas.
