Eight intrepid U3A members braved the inclement Bank Holiday weather to walk the hills north of Puncheston. As your can see from the poorly focussed photo below the views were magnificent! We met at the Drovers' Arms Puncheston (SM 2905 0005) for the 4-4.5 mile circular walk. 1.5 mile road walking then a gradual incline to level walking and what should have been lovely views before 1.5 mile descent to Puncheston via a rather stone incline. Lunch was at the Drovers' Arms. Many thanks to the Walk Leader: Brian Griffiths.
