………..Well that one ticked off on the Astronomical Bucket list. I spend an hour early this afternoon watch intermittently( as cloud kept interrupting) little Mercury creeping across the fiery face of the Sun. Photo taken, not through my telescope, but with a fujifilm X-T2 camera using a 100-400mm zoom lens + a solar filter.
A stunning sight!
