In really appalling weather, wind, rain but with the occasional tantalising flash of sunshine the 19 intrepid walkers who assembled on the carpark of the Grove Hotel, St Davids set off. Sharing cars we made our way down to St Justians and set off along the lanes to Whitesands Bay, where we ventured on to a windswept Coastal Path back along the cliffs to the Lifeboat Station at St Justians. It was very wet underfoot but the dramatic views of the wild sea around Ramsey Sound made up for the discomfort. Our thanks to Ken Evans and Margaret Palmer for shepherding us round the near four mile circular walk.
