5 Rovers members ignored the forecast and met for the latest walk meeting at Lower Fishguard C.P. Trisha led us round the marine walk and on to the boardwalk at Goodwick moor. We continued onward via the harbour walkway and zigzagged up to Harbour village where we had lunch overlooking the bay and distant coastline. Due to imminent rain and the coast path and intended route via Llanwnda being waterlogged we cut it short by taking a track across to Stop and Call returning via the parrog and marine walk to the start. Well done to Trisha for coming up with a slightly more unusual but thoroughly enjoyable walk. The only downside was that planned co-leader Judith was unable to take part due to the sad news of learning she had a brain tumour. Naturally our thoughts are with her and hope it all goes well for the operation on Dec 6th.
