    Subject:          milkbottle caps
    Enquiry:          Hi,
I am writing to ask if you could put an appeal out for me for any old cardboard caps used to seal milkbottles up until the late 1940's….many still turn up in old button boxes, and biscuit / tobacco tins, and I'm trying to save them before they all get thrown away !
I have a large “milkbottle museum” here in Malvern, and I bore our local U3A members with them constantly….that said, they have found me some lovely old bottles, and an appeal last year in the National mag. resulted in U3A members from all over the UK either sending me milkbottles, or dropping them in….we are always good for a comfort stop and a cup of tea !
If anyone has any of these caps, please get in touch with me at milkbottlepast@hotmail.com…or  01684.569656… or at 16 Leigh Sinton Rd. Malvern, WR14.1JW.
    many thanks…..
    cheers,
    steve wheeler
